That buyout is pretty crazy though, so maybe not...

Lions made the playoffs 2 years ago when the Saints got them in the Superdome. He had a down year last year and out of the playoffs this year by 1 game. Certainly went south for the Lions towards the middle to last half of the season. I would suspect he will get another year but like Garrett this year, I believe he better make the playoffs next year.

The owners wanted him out last year... too much money though

cussing out the fans for booing today won't help his case either..

GEAUXmedic, after reading some of the news reports, you may be right, I was thinking he would survive this year but like you said, could very well be out of Detroit once the season is over.

Probably one of the bottom 5 head coaches in the league.

The Fords wipe their arse with $12 million.

But they won't spend that on a buy out to get rid of that POS coach. Lulz

the same fool that paid matt millen about 50million to run the lions into the ground. Its like a Joseph banks ad, buy one shirt and you own the store, coach the lions and you get lots of money.

The same guy that did this is the off season,

quote:

Stafford will be under contract through 2017, and the total worth of his deal over the next five years will be $76.5 million. $43 million of that will be guaranteed.
