not a Tulane fan but watched a few of their games this year. Their defense and kicker were pretty solid all year.
Hell LSU was one game away from best team ever status with pretty shitty QB play because we had a beast D and ST.

the offense was inconsistent, but played well at times, but even when they were playing badly, they protected the football very well and had a strong defense.

These kids that are up and coming are freaking dogs. They can play. Seriously. Watch out. Even if the offense can't get in sync, the defense is going to surprise many people nationally.

The defense was surprisingly good and CUSA was extra terrible this year.

Put em back on the LSU schedule to open the season and the Wranglin Acadisns as well. Much better TU and USL than the abomination of an OOC schedule Jeaux and Meaux have been able to muster. Both the Slime and the UL-M South Fryin Boudoin Balls are improved teams and the fan bases don't like each other!
