West Monroe after Mandeville coach Guy LeCompte. Friends with shows, successful program in the vanilla neighborhood. Guy would be unbeatable with WEst Monroe talent.

Except Mandeville was bigger, faster and more athletic than West Monroe this year. West Monroe played like absolute crap the entire game and still won. This guy is not in the same league as a position coach at WM. I take that back. Maybe OL coach position.

It is highly doubtful Shows will ever be able to come back in any capacity at West Monroe.

His health has gotten worse over the last couple of years.

It's kinda sad because this guy built the West Monroe program from the bottom up.

Plus he has strongly encouraged the talent at West Monroe to chose LSU.

Don Shows, one of the all-time greats of high school football coaches.

You obviously never seen Mandeville, those adjectives haven't been used to describe that team since 04-05. Not as a whole at least. If Lecompte ever gets the size and talent that WM has look the hell out.

LeCompte at Mandeville wins with vanilla talent every year. Two back to back semi's losing to the eventual state champ both times. Only had about 5 D1's in the last 6 years. He gets the most out of those kids and teaches them how to be a total team.
He's an air raid spread genius.. Should be coaching college.

Sadly I have to report that Coach Don Shows health is getting worse by the day.

I hope that I am wrong but I do not believe that he has too much longer to live.

Prayers for Coach Shows
