Are we conceding Cannon's return as the slam-dunk "most important" play in LSU history?

It's likely to be the play most talked about for the longest period of time, but I don't know that it had any affect on LSU's trophy case other than probably locking up the Heisman for LSU's only Heisman winner (which is important I guess). But LSU lost their next game, and then lost to Ole Miss at the end of the season anyway, and then didn't win a conference Championship for another 3 seasons and a National Championship for another 45 years.

There were probably some big plays in '58 but I don't know of any so I can't comment on that.
Personally if I had to pick a single play, I'd say Mauck to Green against UGA (Round 1) in 2003.
