What's your opinion of him on television? I think he's one of the most smug people on t.v. It's almost like he thinks he's doing you a favor by being on camera...

he's not that bad calling the games.
he's not my favorite though.
I thought he used to do a good job on Inside the NFL but the direction that show has taken the last few years sucks anyway.

Collinsworth is one of my favorites. I don't see how you think he's smug, unless you just don't like the way his voice sounds. I think he is one of the more insightful guys, actually knows his football and doesn't just say obvious cliche shite.

find most analyst terrible but there is something about Collinsworth's smugness is ridiculous and have been calling it out for years.

If you think Collinsworth isn't smug, then you probably do not know the definition of the word smug. Ftr, the way someone's voice sounds, like they're talking down to you, is one of the major factors related to being labelled 'smug'

Him and Al are one of the more tolerable duos these days IMO. Gary and Verne are some of the lowest quality on TV.
