Couple of mediocre players, although Bass is a pretty good bench big man. At least a big man who can shoot free throws.

Allows Sullinger to play his natural position. It's a good move w/o the first round pick included. If it's not lottery protected, it would be a terrible deal.

Yep. Asik & Sullinger is an interesting frontcourt.

This isn't a done deal. There have been tweets like this going out for the last few days. If that is the deal I'm fine with it. They get 2 solid 2nd unit guys and a pick.

Lee is really exactly what Houston needs. A perimeter defender / good 3 point shooter. Don't have to rely on Garcia anymore who has been pretty bad lately.

I love this trade for boston. Asik is very underrated. Boston will be tough on the glass and legit i nce they get a star SG or SF.

However, I'm thinking boston trades him again before the deadline. Fingers crossed it's for EG

I mean it's an OK haul of competent players, but you love it?

Meh, it's an alright trade. Not nearly as good as I think a lot of their fans were expecting. Hearing Milsap, Anderson, Thad Young, and you get Bass, Lee, and a pick that probably isn't in the lottery? I guess that means that they think that their core is at the championship level. I'm not sure if I agree.

Celtics, Rockets still haggling over which future first-round pick goes to Houston in Asik deal,
i think the rockets should stick firm to a non protected lottery pick. bastin wont go for it, but they shouldnt deal asik yet if the best they can get is a couple 2nd teamers and a late 2020 first rd pick

Celtics would be insane to give up a non-protected pick.
