My good friend who works for Andthevalleyshook has an in on the Valentine recruitment and told me is he is not liking how Miami is taking so many DT's this year. i was on 247sports and i noticed Edgar Cerenord, another DT that is trending CB to Miami. He told me that the official visit can seal it with LSU! 
eta. updated with Calvin Heurtelou Juco DT out of NY getting CB'd to Miami. it looks like they might take 6 DT this cycle? LSU has to look pleasing for Valentine as he'd be the only TRUE DT we'd take this cycle and the opportunity to play early is available if he works at it.

I thought previously you said he's been ours for months? Not bashing or anything, just wondering of the push Miami is putting on is having an effect.

He's one of Miami's best current commits. they are trying to keep him but can only do so much

qualified and getting past the clearinghouse are two different things, especially for LSU.
just ask R. Robinson.
to me my, the only worry is the clearinghouse interfering because of too big of a jump in ACT score (seen it before).

This is what I heard. He could be worried about the CH stalling him like the Petersons and RR before. Also why he would say at the UA game that he was decommiting from Miami and would not commit to any one at that time.
Cinci Bowtie said he had heard the same I believe.
