How do I stop my neighbor's dog from barking?

My neighbor has a couple of lap dogs that specialize in yapping and crapping. I've spoken to them about the almost constant barking, but they are either unwilling or unable to stop it. They are otherwise good neighbors, but the dogs are aggravating the shite out of me. I can hear them when I'm inside and if I out on my deck, they go apeshit. I don't want to kill them or throw them in the river. (Actually, I do, but I'm not going to.) My only hope is that an osprey or eagle snatches their yapping asses up and carries 'em off to oblivion, but it hasn't happened yet and I've lost patience.

I can't put a bark or shock collar on them (I've asked). Does anyone have any experience with one of the ultrasonic bark sensors? What's the best brand or model? Thanks in advance for your help, and if you're not going to be helpful, at least be funny!
