In no way trying to start anything, and could be completely wrong, but I thought I heard he got kicked for failed drug tests.

Have your boy call up ole Les and find out.
He did just sort of disappear. Hadn't heard he was kicked off though. Everyone thought he was injured and out for the year. You may be on to something though.
