Team Benelli assemble: What do you know about the new Benelli Ethos?

Saw this ad in the latest American Rifleman and started shaking. Have any of you heard of this new model coming from Benelli?

Saw that ad but don't what it's suppose to be.

I read a rumor that the wood stock will have some Comfortech features.

It's been out for a little while in Europe already: Click it

If you're multilingual; here's a review from some guy wearing a weird hat: Weird hat guy link

As somebody already said, it's got comfortech-like features on wooden stocks. It also has a different bolt design to make jumping out of battery more difficult. I think they also did something for the loading procedure as well.

There's supposed to be a huge marketing push at SHOT show in January. So I'm looking forward to the reviews from there.

No idea on price yet, but my guess is should come in around the Legacy sport, maybe a tad higher.

I'm pushing close to 100,000 rounds out of my Super Sport Benelli and it still operates flawlessly. I'm not in the market for a new clays gun but this thing is looking dead sexy.

Edit: I still can't figure out what an Asian playing the violin and a crotch-rocket have to do with shotguns, but I still want the damn gun.

I'm trying to find out when these things actually hit the shelves, but nothing so far.

I love the interchangeable ribs. Coupled with the shim kits and LOP adjustments, this gun should be easily fitted to a LOT of different shooter styles, sizes, etc.

My only concern is the light weight. When I do my 3-500 shells/day regimen, I'm concerned this thing might beat me up a good bit. And the new stock looks like they've removed the "void" commonly used to install recoil reducing kits...

No American. No want.

Wait. I'm 1/4 Italian. So, I guess Beretta and Benelli would be OK. But Browning is...

I still haven't seen an Ethos in person, but the few I know that have said the pictures do not do the AA walnut justice. One of the best looking auto-loaders.

I can't imagine not shooting clays with my Super Sport anymore, but damn I'd love some AA walnut on a clays course.

The biggest reason I haven't added a Legacy to the pile is that I prefer the high rib on the SS, Cordoba, etc. My understanding is the rib on this new gun can be changed as needed.
