Trijicon owners, ever had any problems?
Posted by Cwar11 on 12/17/13 at 7:40 pm00
Looking into buying a Trijicon ACOG & wondering if any owners have ever ran into any problems. They are a nice coin in price so before I drop that coin just wanting some owner feedback. Here is a link to the scope I'm looking at.

I've used one for about ten years in the Marines. We just started getting the ones with the reflex sight on top. That's the way to go. You get a scope and a close quarter sight all in one. I hear they are really expensive though. I just use iron sights on my personal AR though. If you practice enough you can shoot just as well with those.

I'm getting rid of an aimpoint bc I want magnification I like the reflex as well, I'm just getting a really good deal on the one I posted in the link. Just wondering about problems bc like u said they are pricey. Oh and disregard my post on the rant board. I replied to your iron sight post. Thanks for your service to our country. I thought u might be a college punk playing call of duty that didn't know anything about a real gun. On that note with your training I bet u are a top shot with irons

I can't afford an ACOG. Otherwise I might would get one. I love it. It's so versatile. Since in combat about 98% of your time is spent observing absolutely nothing and maybe 2% shooting, the range finding hash marks are invaluable. I find short range shooting to be a bit more difficult though. It's also super durable and doesn't require batteries. I don't have any experience with any other optics though sobi can't help you there.
