Looking into buying a trijicon acog scope, they are a nice coin though. Just wondering if any owners have ran into any problems. Here is a link to the one in particular I'm looking at
Trijicon

Geaux with an Eotech. Trijicon is overpriced. I want an RMR on a HK USP though.

I love the ACOG. It all comes down to personal preference, but as for me I prefer the ACOG over the other optics. For whatever reason I have been able to adjust to it better than I could the red-dot or EoTech.

Eotech is good for closer distances, IMO. Great close-quarter combat optic, but I think the ACOG is better if I'm going to be shooting at anything over 50 yards.

Again, personal preferences. I wouldn't turn down any of them.

Get some iron sights. Optics are for no shooting pussies.

Thanks for the positive reply on the wrong board. I have an aimpoint pro now & I want something with magnification, something I don't have to buy a magnifier for.
Again sorry I posted on the wrong board.

ACOG with the little square reactive sight thing on top is the way to go. I hear they're really expensive though. You don't need batteries and you get a scope and a reflex sight all in one.

I've been in the military and law enforcement since 1988, and I can tell you that if you get ten guys together in the same room going over their optics - Red Dot, Aim Point, Eotech, ACOG - there's gonna be some fisticuffs coming out of that conversation. Conventional wisdom shifts - big window Eotech for MP5 or UMP40 close quarter, ACOG in the bush where you can engage something from 10 yards or 200 yards out, and those who claim an Aim point can do both even better.

Fact of the matter is that with any of the above, if you practice with it and become familiar with it one is as good as the other.

I got a sig 226 and love it, I use it the most. Have a SA 1911 as well that sits in the safe most days. The H&K's are nice though, I've been itching for something new

This optic is better than the ACOG in terms of glass. It has cool features like an automatic illumination change for the light at your target. It runs on batteries if that is a turn off. Overall I prefer the Browe. LINK
