This game is amazing. Me and a friend did the game sharing thing and I had BF4 and he had forza so I thought I was getting the short end of the stick because I don't like racing games but I can't put it down not even for BF4 when its works

Forza graphics are great and the cars are awesome but what is does so well is offer fun competition and at every level. And they do this with drivatar. The drivatar is you when you aren't there. It takes notice of how you drive and acts like you and the more you race the more it drives like you. But it does more than that when you are in career mode you race your friends drivatars so sometimes its not about coming in first its about beating your friends drivatar. Another way they make forza fun is rivals. Every lap you are given a rival this is the person who is ahead of you in the world rankings. So if you finish a lap and beat a rival they give you another to beat. This competition at all levels makes the game so addicting, and the added bonus of insane graphics and beautiful tracks and cars make this my favorite xboxone game. And I have never like racing games. Definitely 10/10
if you are looking for a game for the Xbox one get this and tell your friends to get it too so you can race there drivatars

for anyone that plays add me Prubby and be careful when you go into a turn because my drivatar isn't scared to share paint

Even though I don't like racing games, this launch game makes me a little jealous of the Xboners. It just looks fun, even for a racer.

I think I'm going to go buy this today. I need a single player game to hold me over for a while. Who all has it here?

Me obviously but having friends that play so you can beat the drivatar is very rewarding

I here the only bad thing is the amount of in game cash it costs for new cars. You practically have to buy them with real money. True or just people bitching lol

I got it and I'm not a big gamer, but honestly out of all the graphics in all the new gen games I've played so far Forza 5 is the best. It's pretty impressive. The premise of the game is the same as most other racing games, you get a beater for free and as you win races you get money and buy better cars, but the cars that you can get are amazing

people bitching.

is it a grind for awesome cars? of course, but the more time you spend in the cars you own and more races you win with them you get affinity bonuses, which help you earn Forza currency fast. and early on it's not smart to buy a car for every new series you do. get a few decent cars, learn them, and then just mod them for new series. which allows you to save money up for better cars eventually.

i think the whole "you have to spend real cash to play Forza" schtick is just being pushed by the PS4/GT folks that are butthurt about the awesomeness of Forza.

The amount of money isn't too crazy. Its definitely a grind but not crazy.

I have a few complaints. Every series I have raced pays out a flat rate of 12k credits, why?

Not enough diversity in the series. They are all the same, just different cars you go against.

I love the game, best systems in a racing game. But the series are too vanilla.

Can I not qualify for races too? Starting 14th all the time blows.

Yeah I second what KK says. And from what I hear they just had an update that increased your rewards and decreased the car cost.

But I have noticed that some cars like the buggati and some Ferraris are DLC and I guess that means you have to buy those with real money then unlock them with in game credits but I haven't looked yet

They are still working on the games economy and are apparently lowering the cost of a lot of top end vehicles with an update soon

Haha I love being in second place and saying well damn that car is too far ahead to win then all of the sudden see them take the worst turn ever and go sliding in the sand only to remember I'm not playing a computer that is infallible but some guy that can do good 90% of a race and choke on that last turn to lose it all

Nice to see some others on this board finding the world that is Forza. This game is very good, I too find it hard to play anything else at this point but I am also grinding to complete the career so I can start getting serious. To those that were asking about the economy of the game and the cost of the cars....they are doing an update where you will make much more per race, per series and the cost of the most exotic cars are being reduced by as much as 60%. Not sure when the update will be but they usually do them on Tuesdays....they are still awaiting certification though.

The real challenge to Forza is racing online, though I will warn everyone that hasn't experienced online racing that it could be the one thing that pushes you away from it. It isn't the game's fault, too many dickwads being pricks and ruining the game for others. They however can be avoided and there are plenty of racing communities that have online race leagues...I can point you towards several that are really great.

Finding tunes that are good are tough as well, tuning for this game takes lots of time and experience....auto upgrades usually tend to go more towards power and not enough grip, you won't be very competitive with those tunes. Follow me or friend me (Clay in LA), follow some of my laps and you can see the lines I run. I'm not the best but I already have about 80 top 50's or better and most of that has been in career mode, I have a lot of laps in the Forza series. Look forward to racing with some of you as well.

I feel like I shouldn't be power sliding through turns. I stay on the track but it just seems like I should be striving for Lowe speeds and keeping traction. Any help?
