Does anybody else have "that guy" in their league?

You know that dude. He's the one who has a shite team but catches all the breaks all season long. He's the guy that picks up Kirk Cousins because he made shitty trades and drafted shitty at Qb but gets 37 pts for him in the playoffs. He's the dude that wins every fricking week by 2 pts. His team scores 76 pts. The guy he's playing scores 72. His opponent scores 190 pts. He will score 192. Yes I got beat by this dude twice this yr. and yes he beat me in the playoffs.

If it was more luck you'd see different people winning leagues every year. In all the leagues I'm in it seems 1/3 of the managers teams are always in the playoffs 1/3 never in playoffs. And the other 1/3 are in the middle.

Really it's more 70% luck 30% skill.
The reason the same people make the playoffs is because it's the people that regularly check their lineups and information, not becuse of "skill"

I take it you haven't done well in fantasy football. lol: The only people I've heard say that it's all luck are those that lose consistently. Kinda like in real life how only the losers blame the refs.

Now while you do get lucky Occassionally, and holy shite was Lady Luck on my side yesterday, that is only a small part of it, and frankly...the fun part

Yes on a weekly basis there's a ton of luck involved, but over the course of the whole season, you'll almost always see the best teams in the playoffs. After you make the playoffs it is a bit of a crapshoot.

There's your problem. Maybe it's just me, but in this case fantasy mirrors real life. I've never been in a league where the guy with Tony Romo won anything meaningful.
