Who has been to a concert in New Orleans Arena?

Considering a couple of concerts next year, and was curious as to your opinions on where to sit?
As I get older I am not as interested in the floor as I might have been at one time, especially for rock concerts. So - those who have been to a "big" concert in the arena - where would you sit?
TIA

Been to about 7-10 without thinking about it. I also don't like the floor. If you have a choice, sit directly in front of the stage on the lowest level. When you sit down the sides, even very close, the sound is not that great. Did 2 concerts this year, once sitting to the right of the stage and the other to the left, sound was ok but not great. Did one other show sitting in front of the stage and made a tremendous improvement.
But if I was you, I would just rent out a suite!

When you say directly in front of stage, you mean basically facing it but I would have the entire floor section between me and the stage correct?
And I am glad you mentioned that - because part of what I was thinking was those side sections real close to the stage...
But I suppose it depends on the stage setup. The couple I am looking at seem to have the stage on one end, as opposed to the middle for example...

All the shows I have been to where I wasnt in a suite I sat straight facing the stage.
Never a bad view, sound is great.

I guess those must be popular...can't seem to find them during the presale option....

Try to figure out where the soundboard is and pick a seat directly in front of it. This goes for just about any venue. The sound guy is making his tweaks with his location as the barometer.

I sat on the floor about 3/4 back for Rush. It was alright if you have to sit.

Try to get "club level" seating. You won't regret it.
Much better concessions and fewer people in line at the bar.
