Even if the slightest bit. Somewhat encouraging:

quote:

But on Sunday Jones refused to be dragged into the “vote of confidence” game for his coach who might one day set a league record for consecutive 8-8 seasons. “I don’t choose to talk about that or talk about several things about the franchise or the team right now,” Jones said. “We’ve got a ballgame coming up, and, by the way, Garrett will coach that game against the Redskins. So write about that.

We all know JJ is a arrogant prick, but if he keeps Garrett now he will have reached the level of batshit crazy as Al Davis was.

Garrett and Romo have to leave before Dallas can be relevant again.

ETA: Meant Garrett not JJ. Probably JJ too though.

Tony Romo was one of those situations where I think they kept/paid him because they were scared of what a real team/ O coordinator might do with him and make them look foolish. That said, Tony Romo can't avoid the massive F up and might never be able to. If he ever could, he would be a DAMN good QB.

That said, throwing Rob Ryan under the bus last year was about the most foolish thing they could have done. It was clear to me that D outside of the OLBs was pretty devoid of talent. That's only going to shine through when you let a good coordinator like Ryan go.

I am in no way a Romo fan, but I actually he can be fixed. That last pick looked like beasley whiffed on the ball. But make no mistake Romo has some mental issues at the end of games.

Until JJ steps back and hires a true GM, the Cowboys will always be an 8-8 team.

They were up 26-3 at halftime and ran the ball 7 times in the second half. Tells you all you need to know about Jason Garrett

Jason Garret doesn't know what a fricking RUN is. He is better suited as a junior high WR coach, frick him. Nick Saban please come to the Cowboys, pleasssse I love them, they were my childhood team while growing up when i lived in Texas, had so many great memorys going to games with my dad. Now it's a complete shite show and turning me into an alcoholic.

If Bill Parcells could not save this inbred bastard of a team, what the hell makes you think Saban can? He already proved he sucks at coaching grown men and assistant coaches in the NFL have already proved themselves at the college level and aren't going to accept being barked at the way Saban barks at people.

Doesn't matter who coaches as long as JJ is making all the personnel decisions!

Garrett and Bill Callahan are horrible at calling plays. That much is obvious by the unexplainable play-calling this year. But Jerry Jones is the most obvious person who needs to not be involved in decisions anymore.

The need a massive overhaul of talent but won't have the cap space for years due to idiotic deals given out by Jerry Jones.

You are either very young or have a short memory. Do any of you guys remember WHO Saban wanted as a QB when he was at the Dolphins?

Medical staff would not clear Drew Brees.

Saban won't go anywhere he does not have complete control of the program. Too many obstacles in a NFL program and besides I don't see a "Chemistry" between CNS and JJ.

He did exactly that when he hired Parcells. Jerry is not the true GM anymore it is Stevie and has been since Parcells left. Ever noticed when Jerry was the true GM they won Super Bowls? People give Johnson the credit, but it was Jerry that brought in the guys for Jimmy. It was a team thing.
