NE: 17 points in first half, only gave up 13 in second.

NYJ: 20 points in first half, only 6 in the 2nd half.

SEA: 27 points in first half, only 7 in the 2nd half.

STL: 24 points in first half, only 3 in the 2nd half.

All that said, Saints win this game if Brees doesn't throw 2 unforced INTs that lead to touchdowns.

The first interception is on the offensive line

most of those games were the offense giving up turnovers that put us behind in the 1st half and continued to suck despite the defense playing well in the 2nd.

reasons we lost

Brown negating the Lance Moore Touchdown
Not blocking the NT on FG
Brees's second INT to Graham.

All of these happened in the redzone.

That is kind of my point. Lots of poor play, but at least the defense shaped up.

Brees' INTs have killed the Saints in many of those games.

Weren't 7 of the points against Seattle gifted by Brees and had nothing to do with the defense?

But yeah. A LOT of the road losses have this repeating tendency or narrative, where the offense digs a huge hole for themselves, or gets behind the 8 ball, falls into a hole early in the game and tries to fight back but can't. SF playoffs, Seattle playoffs, Seattle this year, tonight, etc.

Saints D isn't really responsible for any losses this season. Was the offense screwing the pooch one way or another.

We were moving downfield, just have to put points on the board.

Outside of tipped balls, no interception has EVER been on the offensive line.

Sacks are on the offensive line, interceptions are on the QB.
