I wouldn't say that a 105 yard return with 1 sec left is "owning" anything. That's like saying Auburn "owned" Georgia....
It woulda been a bit bittersweet to see Saban stay. On one hand, it is definitely frustrating to see anyone do so well, let alone a rival. On the other hand, it's formed a great rivalry between the teams and a few calls / bounces either way in most games could have turned it (ie PP#7 pick that wasn't called, Miles dumb fake FG call 2 years back, etc.). Outside out the second half of this years game and the BCSNCG they have been great games and I think was 3-3 before this year if I remember right.
And for anyone saying 7mil isn't worth it for Saban, go look at the Universities applications since Saban has been there, not to mention Athletic Department, merchandise, etc revenue. He's the best in the business and it's not close, that's why he is getting paid so much more than others.
All that said, look forward to putting up the "W: in Death Valley this coming year.
