I thought Texas had hired Saban weeks ago?

I thought it was decided weeks ago
I thought Texas offered Saban a $100 million/10 yr deal that he verbally accepted a while ago
I thought Mack was resigning thursday
I thought Mack was resigning friday
I thought there was no way Alabama could keep him from all that Texas has to offer
I thought Texas boosters had bought out millions in property to clear Saban's debt in accordance with the 2 part contract that had been established a while ago
I thought Saban had a falling out with Alabama administration and was ready to leave
I thought Saban was seeking a new challenge
I thought the Sabans were full of it when they said they were retiring at Alabama
I thought Saban was going to Texas

it's for next year I guess, when Saban is ACTUALLY going to Texas. This was just a setback
