Sexton wouldn't have gotten Malzahn a shiny new extension at Auburn if he thought the Texas job was a possibility.

Texas won't throw Saban money at Malzahn, which leaves Auburn room to compete.

And that whole 'national championship game' I've heard about.

Not gonna happen

I was half joking and having a little fun with you guys. It looks like they'll reluctantly hang on to Mac for another season. I think Auburn is pretty safe with Malzahn because he strikes me as a guy that appreciates the fact that Auburn took a chance on him when they didn't have to.

My guess is Harbaugh from the Niners. Before the wheels come off that "mobile" quarterback.

Doesn't seem that those D-bags know how to do anything quietly. Total meltdown underway in Austin.

Bill O'Brian will be their likely target.

I guess the better question would be one that Auburn doesn't have to worry about. If the UGA corners knew how to bat down a pass and Auburn won the Iron Bowl but Bama went to Atlanta and Texas went after Malzahn, do you think he would take the Texas job?
