Probably when Spurrier gets a raise he will be #5 in the SEC.

Do you really like Kevin Sumlin at 5 mil per?

That seems insane to me.

This info won't stop the "For how much he gets paid he should win NC's every year" crowd.

Well given that he's finished an average of like 3.5 in the SEC during his career here, I'd say that's about right.

He shouldn't be in the top 10. He is the reason why LSU has to spend the most money on assistant coaches in the SEC.

How many current SEC coaches have average finishes that are higher than that?

(BTW your number is pretty accurate: if you break the ties in the standings, Miles/LSU averages 3.44 place)

This seriously made me laugh out loud. I don't know if you're trying to be funny, but it's legitimately funny. If you're going to bash Miles, this is the way to do it.

Hate to tell you, but this statement came right from the mouth of an insider who is on the sidelines of most games. Most of the Miles lovers who think he is a great coach don't have a clue how he is actually viewed amoung people in the know.

I don't fricking care what some mouth breather grad assistant has to say about the most successful coach in lsu history.

Sad that there are fans like this douche that continue to trash the program because they hate the coach's success.

That's what I don't understand. With Manziel he lost 4 games. How does that warrant a raise??

Still hilarious. I'm not even bashing you on it or anything. I just laughed like a maniac when I saw it.

Your "insider" could be 100% right for all I know, but the bottom line is always way more right. 94-24, 2 SEC titles, 1 National title. No LSU coach ever bettered that. Kudos to Les Miles for figuring out how to win so much despite his obvious learning disability.

4th or 5th in pay.
4th or 5th in football.

He's the winningest coach we've ever had though.
