I was just thinking, why is it that on Back to the Future 2 when Marty Mcfly travels to the future and sees himself as an older adult, why doesn't the older Marty Mcfly have Parkinson's?

They obviously cure Parkinson's in the future.

Wow good point. In BTTF1 Marty is 17 in 1985, making him 45 years old in 2013.
In BTTF2, they travel to 2015 and Marty does not have Parkinson's; therefore, Parkinson's will be cured sometime in the next 2 years.

Only in the alternate reality future where Biff is rich. We have to assume he donated a lot of money to find a cure for Parkinson's.

I still don't understand how Doc knew that Biff cornered Marty on the roof of his hotel / casino.
Also, in BTTF1, why does Marty only give himself 10 minutes to warn Doc that he's going to be shot, at the end of the movie. I even think he says "10 minutes should be plenty of time." Really?! Why not go back a day before?

Having a time machine has its advantages, doesn't it?

Because he still has to avoid himself as well as make sure that he goes back to the past or the same result happens, and he never even gets to return at all. I don't know about the new update box set but I have the original one from the early 2000s and it explains a lot of the questions people have had.

True, now that Biff isn't a rich casino owner, Marty may be fricked...
If in 2 years he still has Parkinson's, we'll all know Biff was responsible for the cure in that specific alternate reality.

My question is this.
How was Biff able to make all that money betting sports?
With his winning streak, I would imagine that after about year 2 or 3, he would have been banned from every sports book in the world

There's a time machine.

The second movie was always my favorite but it is also the installment most riddled with plot holes. They go through an entire song and dance trying to get the almanac back from Biff. How about just use the TIME MACHINE you have at your disposal, stake out Biff's house/routine for a few days and then go back in time and take the almanac when you know you'll have a perfect opportunity. lol I know that would render the movie completely boring but it's a pretty big flaw in logic on Doc and Marty's part.

yeah cuz we all know biff is that kind of guy. I think there is a better chance that the dog from the first one stumbled onto a cure while chasing the neighbors cat

and how does the rest of the world change but not sporting events

The biggest and most unforgiveable flaw in BTTF2 was that it led a generation of kids to believe the rumors that hoverboard technology is real and that we'd have them in a matter of a few years.
I swear if those things come out when I'm 75 and I have to give up my life savings to get one, I will fricking do it.
