Status of Kenny Young?

I really like Clifton Garrett and I have a strong feeling that he wears Purple and Gold on Tuesday, but does anyone know if were still going strong after Kenny Young? The kid plays so downhill and fast, I really hope he ends up at LSU. Anyone have an idea on whats going on with him?

I think I heard where UCLA and Okie St are his favorites. LSU is on him but I am not sure how hard. Might be a last minute pick up.

I had heard a while back that he was back burnered by LSU if not outright dropped. Hate it, kid is a player.

Yes were going after him. KY will be an OLB at the next level, and CG is as true a MLB as there can be.
Do we get him?? Not sure. But if its not LSU, I think itll be UCLA.

That has changed. FW had a fairly long meeting with him very recently and apparently it was a very good one. It sounds like LSU does want him in this class or they wouldn't be meeting with him at this point.

Good. That conversation was about a month ago. Glad to hear LSU is back on him. UCLA was who I was hearing at the time.

If you were going hard after MD, why not go after him too is what I don't understand? with the potential log jam at LB because of the 6 we took a year two years ago with Granier (Transfer), Debo, Louis, Kwon, Fiest(moved to DE?) and Phillips I would think that he would be a priority regardless of where Clifton Garret ends up and due to the numbers.

He is a future All-SEC player IMO. He reminds me of Patrick Willis.

We are going after him... not sure why people insist we arent. We are. Hes been here watching games on unofficial visits, he talks to the coaches, he knows we want him.
A lot of people think that since hes not really that outspoken about his recruitment or LSU, that we arent recruiting him that hard or that we are slow playing him... When its just the opposite. Hes slow playing every school interested in him. He doesnt say much about it and plays everything close to the chest. He knows we most likely will get CG. He just wants to see how everything plays out before he makes a decision.
Ha ok... 2 diff type of players and will play diff positions. Is CG a better MLB? Yes. Is Kenny Young a better OLB? Yes. Kwon Alexander has been great for us. And I think Kenny Young will end up being just as good, but most likely a better OLB than Kwon.
