Anyone know who sells geese for Christmas? Looked online a couple places and they are outrageous IMHO.
Looking for frozen/fresh kill...not live (for those who would ask).

Why you ask? Well Thanksgiving night I got REAL sick...and the turkey came up...my stomach and me have an agreement...if I've tasted it both ways...I don't eat it again. I break that rule with OJ...but that's it. No, it wasn't food poisoning, it was a bacterial infection. Just a side-effect...timing sucked.

best bet would be to go to a feed store and buy a yard goose, kill it, pluck it, gut it, cook dat.

I've actually thought about something like that...golf course geese (Canadians) are VERY rampant up here...and available...LOL

I've got a coupleole big fat specks in my freezer. I could part with one no problem if you find yourself in the greater Rayvegas area.

Thanks for the offer LSUballs.

I guess that's Rayville? Not planning on traveling anywhere...but I do really appreciate the offer...

That's kind of the reason I posted here rather than the OB, as I know those guys would be willing to help with kills and I would love some waterfowl...

But, in this case I'm looking to buy domesticated/farm-raised.

Thanks again.

This will sound so dumb.

I have seen a goose at either Walmart or Winn Dixie here. Can't remember which. If meridian has one, I can't believe Huntsville doesn't

Well Whole foods has them. No Winn Dixie here...closed several years ago...hated that too.

I'll check Wally world...didn't see one before...maybe they might after seeing that other post.

thanks for all the help folks.
