That sucks. They sure advertised the shite out of it. I'm about an hour into the first weeks episode and it is terrible. Cheesy as hell. The dialogue is really really bad.

It's almost a carbon copy of the PS3 game LA Noire, which happened to really blow.

I loved LA Noire the game, but this is entirely too contrived. Maybe that's by design? Is It supposed to be a throwback to cheesy 40s gangster movies? The dialogue and acting sure feel like it. If that's the case, ok. If not, too bad.
That' said I'm going to finish it because it's the only period drama on that I'm interested in. If you have another LA crime drama c. 1947 in mind, I'm all ears.

I enjoyed it. Pretty decent noir show
