I know what you mean. I just started paying attention to college football 3 weeks ago and these coaching changes seem to defy logic.

Have to think of it like this...
Even if it wasnt going to happen, they wouldnt drop mack.

Going into the bowl season without even somebody in the batters box, dont think so.
Only question is how committed they are to getting Saban
Not just driven, but pot committed with whatever cash it takes
Exactly why they would only act as you suggest.

The answer is yes Mack is. There has been negativity around Mack basically since the 2010 season, and whether it's Saban already locked up or shooting for the stars with a little uncertainty elsewhere, Mack was done for.

Yes. But its been that way since that fateful day in January 2010. He has sucked at his job since then. 18-17 in the big 12.

After all of this back and forth yesterday and today. I am not one of those guys that want to see Saban leave. I think it has all been decided. I think they had their coach on board before all of the Mack is stepping down shite came out. I think it's a done deal.

Yes, there seems to be an overwhelming amount of fans that want him out regardless.

Yeah something I just can't put my finger on happened in 2010 and the fans have been calling for his head ever since.

The fans have been calling for Mack's head for years. Even if they don't get Saban, you have to think they have a short list of people they want, and those would likely be improvements over what they have now.

huh?

it's a legit question

you gotta think Texas has someone lined up

Saban or not, they surely have someone who has already said they'd be the guy if it came down to it

I just don't understand why they seem to be pushing him out so fast. I mean he only has one game left this season. Let him do it with some dignity.

Something is up. Not saying it's Saban, but it's something

Yes.

Because they are so used to having to compete with a bunch of small private/all-male military schools that they think they are entitled to a damn near perfect season every year.
