Texas Ultimatum can affect LSU

Ok say Texas didn't get Saban (which is more likely than not) and then turned their search to Les Miles and it was an offer he couldn't refuse per being reported by multiple espn analyst as a candidate. Who would be at the top of LSU list for a Head Coach ? Please be open minded just a scenario.

If it were me running the search, the first 3 calls would be to Dantonio, Franklin and Briles

i honestly believe the only thing that kept Miles from going to michigan was the fact that he was playing in the NC game and the timetables wouldn't have worked out with recruiting and what not.
that said, i think two strong look would've gone to fisher and malzahn but neither would take what would be considered a lateral move. especially for fisher who has a weak arse conference to feast upon and two down in state rivals.
so realistically you look at guys like briles, patterson, franklin, and mostl likely cam cameron.
cameron is the easiest choice.

The nice thing about this year is there aren't a lot of major jobs open anyway. UT and USC and UW are the only 3 of any significance. IMO UT won't throw this kind of money at a guy like miles. They may offer 6 mil or 8 mil but I'm not sure the boosters would ante up for Miles or any other college coach like they will for Saban or a high profile NFL guy. What does Miles bring that Mack didn't. If he were to leave I would say Franklin, Freeze, Cameron, Al Golden would all be great candidates within our range.
