Dude, it has nothing to do with Hayden rettig.
Idk anymore about him than I do rivers, bolden or Harris.
Only bc I haven't seen them play.

This "interception machine" comment is a first for me.
Furthermore I don't really care how good or bad someone was in high school. LSU, the SEC and D1 ball in general isn't high school.

I just get irritated at people on this site that are so so quick to name players busts or GOAT based on basically nothing, particularity at the QB position.
Just look how peaceful things were around here past 2 years.
This clown doc is one of the main ones, apparently he didn't learn shite from his cheerleading campaign he led for JJ few yet ago.

Rettig wasnt an interception machine lol. He threw the ball 50 times a game so ofcourse he will throw more pics then someone who throws it 15-20 times a game.

Rettig played in an air it out system with very little talent around him.. Interceptions are to be expected in that case when you're the only legit talent out there.. Lets see how far he's come in understanding cams system before annointing Jennings the future.

Why is everyone ignoring Rettig? The guy has a really good arm and is more maneuverable than Mettenberg.

interception machine. Watch his tape, his passing numbers are more on his WRs than on him.

18 interceptions is not good on 485 passes. Neither is completing only 53% of your passes and 7.05 ypa. He liked LSU so much partly because we were one of if not the only school still on his recruitment hard after he tore his ACL.

I like the guy and like his potential. He has flaws that he has to correct, he has a gunslinger mentality, but that bites him in the arse a lot, his fundamentals were bad coming out and he has to go from 90% shotgun, to 90% under center. Dude is just having growing pains right now.
