Great movie. Had me on the edge of my seat throughout. Great performance by Gyllenhaal, and Dano. Good plot, and the twists were executed nicely.

I give it an A-

I enjoyed the movie but it was just lacking something intangible to make it great. I surprisingly was most impressed by Gyllenhaal's performance.

I hear ya, it somewhat fizzled at the end, but as a whole I really enjoyed it, so I can live with that.

Agreed. He can be hit or miss, but he has some really good performances in a few movies, including thisi one.

I have small kids, am reluctant to watch. Sounds like I may need to drop the purse and watch it.

It is intense for sure, and somewhat of a mind bender. I don't have children, but the movie was a roller coaster ride of emotions for me.

I thought it was great, but it seemed like they tried to rush the ending. I have a daughter, which made it more personal. Just dont know what you would do in that situation.

I won't watch due to having small kids. I have read the plot synopsis and just don't want to put myself in that seat.

Really enjoyed it. Thought it dragged a little near the end, but great twist and great performances all around.

I think you can handle it. I think you'd be glad that you watched it.

Nice. I was interested when it came out but I never go to the theaters unless I really really want to see something. Will rent

I know everyone has mentioned dano's and Gyllenhaal but I really think Hackman stole the show

Either way, good performances all around

I agree, and I guess I left him out because I expected a riveting performance from him. He is a very well rounded actor.

True. I really used to not like the guy, but I've come to realize he's a pretty damn good actor. Same with jakey poo

Pretty much same here. Jake has come a long way since Homer Hickum.

saw this friday night and I really liked it

Jackman was incredible imo, but all the performances were really good.

spoilers:

Dano's face all swollen up was disturbing, reminded me of the elephant man

loved how every little thing connects at the end
