What are your opinions on potential for this stock? Up today, but lackluster lately.

New management. might take a while for their feet to get back under them, I am long on them currently.

I am an idiot but I bought when they were around $11, when they were buying up lease land around Kansas about three years ago. I had someone tell me that they were set to really take off. Obviously lost some cash but have held on to what I have left.

When they leased our minerals I tracked them kinda close and was considering buying. I think it was around the 4 dollar range. From what im hearing is the Mississippi Lime Play is a bust in the Kansas area where they have most their land so I decided not to buy

That has been the case in Kansas. I know several people that were buying leases up there and were very excited. Lots of hype and it ended up being a bust when considered the cash paid to lease. I also bought in right before they sold around half of thier assets to a group from South Korea.

There are still doing a lot of looking trying to find the sweet spots in Kansas but it seems to be turning into more of a NG play and with those prices being so low I just dont see SD spending 10mm per well.
Im considering looking into Goodrich that has a lot of investment in the TMS

Sidebar: still energy. Anyone like KMR? It's trading close to 52 week lows, and has a nice yield (divident reinvest).
I just bought a few and was curious if anyone is tracking them.

I thought the majority of their property was in Oklahoma, not Kansas. They decided to focus on the Mississippian Shale, so if they end up getting lackluster results, then the stock should tank. There are better alternatives.
