I am looking to buy a 12-16 qt stockpot. Should go for stainless, enamel, or aluminum(Magnalite)?
I'd like to stay under $100. A $400 All-Clad is out of the question.

Go stainless, it's non-reactive. Check out a restaurant supply store. You can definitely get one within that budget.

i think the le creuset 12 qt enamel is around $100. i picked-up one about two years ago, and have been quite happy with it.

check sam's. i've seen them for cheap there. also second restaurant supply store.
