Although there are other guys that I have considered more of a must get than Garret, I ee him as one of the top three impact players for next year and also my favorite commit to date.
I say this because he comes from a place where kids don't have any loyalty to LSu but he knows he wants to come to Baton Rouge. He sees the need for his presence at the Mike spot and the coaches are most likely telling him exactly what he was hoping to hear. The best thing about that is that our coaches are the most honest at those things than any others in the SEC. He will get everything that he is being promised and then some.
I see him being a Tiger next year and a damn good one at that! Our defensive inconsistencies are going to be a thing of the past with another guy who can lock down the middle like Minter did last year. Being able to fill a guy like Minter's shoes is saying a heck of a lot guys and I believe that Garrett can doing well enough as a true fresh. After he gets some game time behind him, he might be better than Minter!
Also, the coolest thing about all of this is that he will have to fight for that spot because the Tigers do have a couple of guys who were true fresh this year who will make him work to get past them in the roster. This will be necc for him to truly be a success and elevate this defense to the consistency that will be necc for the crystal in 2014.
Here's for AJ10 winning the Heisman and CG winning the Butkus!(sp?)

He sees the hole.... And explodes through to make tackles. Has catch up speed but doesn't over run plays, scrapes down the line. Man oh man, one of the best high school linebackers I've seen in a long time.
