this thread is to talk about what could have been. after all it is better to talk it out, right? brace yourselves, will probably turn into a tl;dr, but IDGAF

it all started back in august getting with me getting the first pick. duh, take AP. then i grab D. Thomas and Graham in the 2nd and 3rd. i also scooped up Stafford in later on. things were looking up.

picked up Zac Stacy, Rashad Jennings, and Cooper who added to a solid roster.

i'm riding high rolling into the playoffs. running on a 10 game win streak, #1 in the league by two games, and overall just destroying people.....and then, Sunday, December 8th happened.

first, I play Cooper and Stafford in the god damn blizzard. then AP goes down. Stacy laid an egg. I picked up OAK's D instead of playing CAR, and the Jets decided to have a pulse on offense. Jennings is hurt. i had a WHOPPING 66 points going into tonight with no one left. he has Dez and Marshall. He just surpassed me, and is currently sitting at 71. that's it. it's over. my chance at 1K is officially done.

good one FF. you really got me this time.

I missed the playoffs because the top team sat megatron, Chris Johnson and Andre Brown letting his dad beat him.

Most of the league is calling bullshite, so changes are coming next year, and my entry fee is waived.

Consolation is the two cheaters lost this week and are out.

Shitty part is, my team would be the top scorer this week.

Winner gets roughly $2000.

That's BS. If I was commish of that league I would have added the guys that he sat to his lineup.

He would never walk again if he were in my league.

It's kinda on me, I didn't see the extent of what he was doing until after the games were played, which is why I didn't blow up. though had I realized they were related I would have been more skeptical before the games ended.

But I also never expected to have to police this particular league.

Another consolation, the guy that brought this to my attention also offered his playoff spot to me. I declined because he wasn't the one cheating and did not deserve to lose his spot. Well, he was the one that beat the #1 seed, so now he is the 1 seed.

Kharma.

I just lost because the Bears went for 2 instead of kicking the PAT while being up by 19. Lost 114.98 to 114.36. I can only hope for a stat correction. This was the first round of the playoffs.

i know the feels bro, but 2.5k was on the line for me…. I was up 60 points….chris johnson and andre brown decides to have fumblelitis and montee ball and ryan mathews on the opposing team were having the game of their lives. I had graham vs his brees and hartley up by 20 something points….lost by 1 point because they decide to not go for it at the goal line and allow hartley to kick the field goal.

I love *****. Tough loss but personally happy black mamba pulled the upset, increases my chances to win the crown.

Btw if you would've paid attention to gameday injury reports you could've slid Bell into your flex for D. Brown when they announced Reggie went down during pregame. Problem solved.

Better luck next year

I didn't make the playoffs due a loss two weeks ago. I started Keenum @ Jax over Brady for some retarded reason. That one fricking last minute decision knocked me out my projected playoff seed and potentially cost me a grand.

Leading scorer by 135 points. I average about 10 more than anyone else each week. I'm 8-6 and missing the playoffs. Every win was by a ton and every loss I scored a lot but was narrowly beaten.

frick you fantasy football gods.

The best teams usually never win in fantasy football. Just be glad you made the playoffs unlike some teams in your league. I also recommend 1st round byes for the top 2 teams next season.

We had a similar position a year or so ago..

A guy quit at the draft so we had one guy running two teams, albeit in separate divisions.

One was guaranteed in the playoffs in the last week and one needed a win. His teams played each other so he tried to throw the game.

We stepped in and squashed that shite pronto.

I lost this week by 0.54 points with Tony Romo playing last night. So I essentially need 15 more frickin yards from him.

My only hope is for a stat correction.

Set the league record for scoring in a season. Finished 7-6 without a bye. Still made the playoffs.

Faced McCown, Shady, G. Graham, R. Matthews, and Arizona D in the first round. The fantasy gods smited me this year.

We have a 2 week playoff, I was the leading point scorer by far this season 10-2 (standard 12 team league non-ppr).

Week 1 of playoffs he has AP, Charles, Josh Morgan go off and scores 131 points (season high by like 15 for him) I score 101.

AP gets hurt, McCoy has a big day, and I score 134 this week to his 104. I beat him due to H2H tiebreak and he watched a 30 point lead evaporate in one week.
