Probably Eastwood's best. Or in top 3. Will think about another Josey whenever I see it again.

In my line of work, you've got to be able to sing Dixie and the Battle Hymn of the Republic with equal enthusiasm.

I always got a kick out of how Eastwood used a lot of the same actors in his movies from that time period. Bill McKinney, William O'Connell.... and of course, Sondra Locke.

The only other thing I ever remember seeing that guy in was an episode of Star Trek - where he was the Orion assassin, disguised as an andorian. He tried to kill Captain Kirk on The Journey to Babel.

Guy was money in Josey Wales.

RIP Josey.

You're right - he was Elmo in EWWBL and AWWYC - I never really cared for those movies, though.

Most of the actors from that movie, and also High Plains Drifter were the bikers in the Any Which Way movies
