No reason to go to Tampa - boring location, boring bowl, boring opponent. No chance those corn-fed hogs can hang with LSU's all-world ess-eee-see speed and athleticism, right?
Ho-hum. All you will be doing is filling seats and taking up spots that will be filled with HAWKEYE fans.
If you are going... prepare to be disappointed just like in 2005. Your Bayou Bengals are gonna turn into pussy-cats when they meet some real b1G brawn! All Morris, Hitchens and Kirksey have to do is hit your prima donna track stars once and they will be hearing footsteps all afternoon. Iowa has a top 10 defense in the country - you really think your baby QB is Braxton Miller or Johnny Manziel? Please.
This isn't yesterday's Iowa offense either - former Texas OC Greg Davis has finally installed a high-tempo offense filled with playmakers (Canzeri, Damon Powell, Tevaun Smith, Duzey, CJF aka Polish Hat aka "NFL"), one of the top LT's in the country (Scherff) and Rudock is one cool cat in the pocket.
Boring? Far from it - unless you can't stop our Mike Alstott-esque RB Weisman in which case, yeah, we'll just run it down your throat every play for 8 yards a pop.
So stay home Tigers! Let the real BEST FANS in the nation represent.
