I'll be in the middle of using it (playing a game, navigating menus, etc) and it will disconnect itself and the center home button will be flashing. Sometimes it reconnects quickly and other times not. It's brand new out of the box today with fresh batteries.

Anyone have this issue or know how to solve it?

The adapter doesnt have anything to do with the kinect.

Please answer, is it in a closed cabinet?

This. When using lithium the thing will come on every time but die a few minutes later.

Seriously return that battery bro. It shouldn't be dumping on you like that.

Mine has disconnected a few times as well. Not sure why and the batteries should be very healthy so no clue.

Tried new batteries, seemed to help some but not stop it from happening.

I've been playing since launch and my controller disconnected for the first time last night. I thought it wasthe batteries but it turned back on right away and still working.

I'm sticking with batteries for my controllers this time, I had three play and charge kits for my 360 controllers and they all eventually wouldn't hold a charge

Mine is doing it too often to be ignored, guess I'll try some diff batteries again but if that doesn't work I'll have to do somthing about it.

I've been reading the xbox forums and there are tons of people reporting this same issue but no one seems to have a definite solution.
