Just wanted to point out that 3 Iowa opp have played in bowl games. Those teams are 0-3.

I think Iowa has a solid fan base. They do better than the Cyclones so most pull for the Hawks. And its wind chill -20 there today. Of course they're going to Tampa. I have stated this on other sites. When Iowa gets 8 wins and a Florida bowl its like the super bowl to most of them. If Iowa beats LSU in this game, the masses of Iowa fans will claim they're better than the SEC. I for one would love to do a HOME and HOME with Iowa to open the season.

I think thats a stretch, but it would be nice to hold off the SEC hubris, from an Iowa point of view.

I know Iowa isn’t the name brand that Michigan or Nebraska is, but I hope some of you watched that Michigan KSU game and appreciated the fact that you don’t play them. They’re garbage.

I did watch KSU-Michigan, and actually watched first half of Iowa/Ohio State last night and I do prefer playing Iowa over Michigan or Nebraska. I'm convinced they are a better football team and a better challenge than either of those teams.
