Nice!

The one thing I would check on that gun is the extractor spring. I shot a baby eagle recently and it didn't always extract. The tension on the extractor was very weak.

But I know they are quite reliable. Congrats on your purchase!

Been tied and re-tied. Hence #5! Yes, it happens. And, he looks like the others too! LOL!

Thx for the heads up Bapple and I understand steel casing ammo is not recommended as well.

Thought about getting one of these. Can't decide between this and the CZ75B. I know this is a clone but it has the rails.

eta : and looks completely baddass.

It holds over 10 rounds. I doubt you want one.

I have the same one - it's a great gun. I picked up a Sig .40 cal and I like it better

Interesting. That must be a common issue then.

I guess shoot it until you have troubles then plan accordingly.

Same exact gun as the Jericho 941. Aside from a slightly similar angle at the muzzle, the gun shares no design similarities with the Desert Eagle. It's actually based off the popular CZ-75 design. The name "Baby Eagle" was a moniker gimmick for the US market.

I have a Desert Eagle 1911 (that I might shoot one day -- got it through Kahr//MRI instructor program). So I'm no expert at all on the Baby Desert Eagle.

But that gun shares one attribute with the Beretta 92FS (M9 for you military folks). That slide-mounted safety is a real show-stopper (for me). Racking the slide, clearing malfunctions, etc., is a good way to slice up your non-dominant hand.

Never had that issue. Used them for a long time, never even had a novice shooter do that with a M9.
