The Pittsburgh Steelers will in fact end up losing a late-round draft pick for coach Mike Tomlin's actions on the sidelines Thanksgiving night, according to league sources. The NFL is not finalizing that decision until the spring, after all compensatory picks are sent.

But will the Ravens receive it? That's the big question.

Why is it a bad move? Trying to keep coaches from doing things like that in the future.

This is the worst decision Goodell has made. Just terrible.

I've always wondered what would stop a player or a coach from coming off the sideline to tackle a player during a big game.

The penalty has to be severe.

But this is stupid. Penalize the man, not the organization.

Ban him from the sideline for a game, put him in the booth.

Or give him a 3 game suspension.

What if the steelers were to fire him? Then what would happen?

The punishment should be severe. This is just the wrong kind of severe.
Should have been game(s) suspension. This just gives cover for firing a guy and thats not Roger's job.
