Auburn in NC game? Thoughts?

As my name suggests I did not attend LSU. I graduated from the "Harvard on the Neches" We HAD no football team during my time there. So I wanted to ask LSU students and REAL alums how they felt.
Auburn hate does or does not allow you to be "glad" that they are in it as an SEC team? Since it looks like the SEC was getting ready to be shut out of game.
I am no Auburn fan but am glad to see them get in. I do however wish FSU lost and not Ohio State, so they too could skull-drag the Buckeyes in NCG.
I just feel that a NCG without an SEC team is not a true NC. Call me a homer but the SEC is the dominant conference. Until the SEC gets embarrassed in a title game they should always be.

I will be pulling for them in the ncg. however, it blows my mind how everyone is struggling to stop their "Georgia tech" offense.

well either way one of the two will be joining us at 3 NCs, so i don't really care too much although I guess i would pick FSU if i had to.

Although I doubt I watch it I hope Auburn wins. BUT I think FSU turns on the power and their defense allows them to pull away in second half.

Good for them. They turned that thing around and have been running wild all over fools. They get a chance to keep the Streak alive and I hope they do.

It think LSU fans rooting for AU is about the dumbest thing I've ever heard of.
One, I don't recall many if any LSU fans rooting for Alabama.
Two, I seriously doubt those LSU fans that are also Saints fans would be rooting for the Falcons to win the Super Bowl if the Saints couldn't make the big game.
In no way does AU winning an NC help LSU. In now way does ANY SEC team winning the NC help LSU. The SEC prowess is already proven. It never helped LSU, and in fact hurt LSU in that we had to play Alabama twice in 2011 because of the SEC lovefest.
I do think a strong AU is good for LSU to keep Bama down, but they don't need crystal footballs to be stronger than Bama. They just need to beat Bama.

You can root for Auburn all you want they still losing. Noone can seriously think they can beat FSU

My thoughts are:
1) I still hate Auburn
2) I hate Ohio State more
Auburn played a tougher schedule and deserved to be there. As far as AU vs FSU, I probably won't watch the entire game, because I don't really care who wins.

Apples to Oranges. There is no "NFC South Pride" or tradition like a conference.

I will never get the sec thing in no way does it help lsu other sec teams winning it only helps them come to la. And steal our recruits go fsu
