Tigers beat the snot out of Auburn the 1st quarter, then basically toyed with them the rest of the game. Yes, Auburn ran well against us, but we scored at will, and there was no doubt who the better team was.

Auburn improved week to week, and now will be playing for the BCS title. On the other hand, LSU showed little if any improvement, and at best could be described as a roller coaster ride. (eg A&M vs Ark)

IMO both examples of Auburn's and LSU's performances are a reflection of coaching. If anyone has a better explanation please share it.

So LSU's coaching is 21 points better than Auburn's? I think you're under rating Malzahn a bit.

Auburn has had some pretty extreme luck this season.

They only beat A&M because JFF came out for a drive late in the fourth quarter. That flipped the game from them behind behind a score to up a score.

They got the extremely flukey play against Georgia that is a once in a program play.

Then the last second play against Bama.

LSU had the opposite of lucky breaks against Ole Miss and UGA

And thats the difference

That loss is on Cam Cameron, Les Miles, Mett and whoever else we can throw in there. Should not have kept trying to throw the deep ball when we were running all over them. Also, you young guys will never understand what "rivalry" means. It usually don't matter who the coach is, where the game is being played or what team is on a roll at the time. More than not, when these two teams meet up, it's on. Throw the records out.

Coaching. One young team got better, the other got worse. But we'll stick with ours because the perfect is the enemy of the good enough. And vice-versa

I'm not saying that at all. I'm saying at the time LSU was a far better team, but we did not improve at all the rest of the season because coaching failed us.

Get your boss fired and I will work on getting miles fired. Your boss has a lot worse track record and is a lot more dangerous

Auburn bring there arse in tiger stadium right now and would lose again. They wouldn't be the favorite against us right now in tiger stadium. Honestly luck has been on there side. They will get steam rolled by FSU which not really saying much because i think FSU would steamroll everybody.

I wouldn't count on that. Not that I'm all rah rah SEC and dickriding Auburn or anything. I just don't see FSU having a cakewalk against Auburn.
