The BCS worked itself out again

Hard to argue that the two most deserving teams aren't playing in the title game.
The playoff is just gonna make it worse.

the bcs would really work out if they just kept it and made the playoff of the top 4.. how simple.. it's like it's too simple..
now they allow a bias (and whether u think u are or aren't.. u are) committee with politics to determine the outcome..

i don't understand why we had to go to a selection committee as well, the present system has a good deal of transparency...what's coming, not so sure

I think they want it to be controversial and fail miserably so they can say "welp, we tried a playoff, it doesn't work"

I can't wait to see some of the lopsided scores when teams start running up the score against poor overmatched cupcakes out of necessity.

BCS works every year. The only thing it's supposed to do is put #1 vs #2 in a title game. There's always been debate about rankings - the BCS didn't create that. If there were no BCS, FSU would be in the Orange and Auburn would be in the Sugar, and people would be bitching about the fact that those two weren't playing each other.

It's not optimal, but I can accept the chance of a rematch in a playoff system, even just a four team deal. I cannot accept the travesty that was 2011.

I wish the voters would have had to make a decision and actually do their supposed job.

if we had a 4 team playoff this year you'd have tOSU, Bama, Mich State and Baylor all with decent cases for just 2 spots.
