Why accept a crappy, non-relevant Rose Bowl bid? Why would they not want to play f$u for all the marbles?

Their corch just said he doesn't care. Why do these dumbasses act like they're above lobbying? Idiot Mike Gundy cost them and LSU in 2007.

Not feasible IMO. Comparing losses is stupid, but beating Bama and Mizzou is far more impressive than beating tOSU. AU has better wins on their resume and deserves to go over MSU.

I know i'm posting in a troll thread but who cares.

Because they know that their strength of schedule was even worse than Ohio State's.

I wondered the same thing - because they came in ranked #10 I guess.

The very same could .. and was said .. in 2011 .. for Oklahoma State .. yet Alabama got the nod, without even winning its Division of the SEC. Funny how people only think these sorts of things when it benefits them or their school.

Playoff .. not with only 4 .. but a minimum 8 .. solves this!!

If Vegas liked OSU over Auburn, and MSU beat OSU, would Vegas like MSU over Auburn too?

Why is a Florida fan worried about bowl games when his team is on the sideline at home?

LSU got in over the other teams in 07 because the WON the toughest conference in the nation. Nothing to do with "good losses". In fact, LSU had very bad losses in 07, both to unranked teams.

I typed 2007 instead of 2011 for some reason.

I zapped 2011 out of my mind.

Alabama got in because of a better loss. OK State had better wins.

eta: But going off of the typo LSU also got in because they were "undefeated in regulation" i.e.. better losses.

MSU had a close loss to ND on the road and had 3-4 questionable PI calls go against them before going on to dominate their conference winning every game by 10+.

Auburn was dominated at home by a bi-polar LSU team and had 5 close wins, two of which qualify as miracle wins.

Id say MSU belongs in the conversation as this was definitely not a good year for the SEC.
