If this was the 1st year of 4-team playoff who ya got?

Id say 1 Florida St vs 4 Michigan St and 2 Auburn vs 3 Stanford

Sorry 1-loss Conference champs go over 1-loss teams.

Sounds about right to me for the same reasons.

In fairness, Stanford has lost twice, though.

I'd agree with that. Emphasis on conference champions, which I think the committee will do next year.

This playoff selection is gonna suck. You can't convince me that Bama isn't one of top 4 teams in the country.

I would favor Bama to win a playoff on a neutral field.

Did Baylor beat any team in the top 10 at any point? The only one I think they played was OK St and they got butt raped.

fsu, aub, mich st, baylor.

if you don't win your conference, you are not in. sorry - in my scenario you don't get two bites at the apple.

1 FSU
2 Auburn
3 Baylor
4 Sparty

Actually, that's a miserable matchup for the Noles. MSU's secondary could slow down their offense.

Mich St. and Stanford over Bama lol.

For some reason I remember a team that didn't win their conference shutting a team out in the BCSCG almost like winning your conference isn't really that telling.

Strength of Schedule is the most important factor, then you can look at conference champions.

Bama's strength of schedule this year wasn't exactly tough. They lost their one really big game.

Michigan St may have had the easier schedule overall but at least they had a big win. Bama didn't.

Again Baylor has been impressive and I love watching them but have they beaten a top 10 team, not that I'm aware of. They played Okie St an got waxed. Stanford beat no 2 Oregon and no11 ASU twice as well as top 15 UCLA and Washington.

I love how the argument is specifically tailored to favor Alabama over, say, Ohio State that went undefeated until their championship game or Michigan State that won theirs.

Hat tip to you.

You people arguing that if you don't win your conference and keeping Bama out are fricking retarded. They're clearly a top 4 team.

So the SEC will never have two of the top four teams in the country? Or any other conference for that matter?

Child please

Y'all are just biased against Bama. If it was LSU, you'd have them in.
