frick this media; acting like were dead in the water before we even get to Brazil.

It's no secret this is a shitty hard group but Keller is on ESPNFC (which btw is an awful show) talking about how it was like watching his dog getting raped during the draw. I shouldn't be surprised considering how moronic espn personnel are.

I hope our team isn't reading any of this shite. These are the same guys who not 3 months ago were talking about how far we've come in 2013 and in a matter of minutes it's all gone to shite cause we got a difficult draw, which is what everyone expected in the first place.

And yes I am indeed mad.

We can do it, especially if it's hot and humid on the day we play Germany and they have clinchd an we have 4 points.

Tall task but the key is getting 4 points from the first 2 games.

If we have 4, Portugal have 1 and Ghana have zero I think Germany can be beat.

Belgum or Russia in the round of 16 doesn't really matter to them.

Both or solid but beatable.

Could be a motivator, we´ll see what Jurgey has to say.

If true, I agree, it´s a bit much.

I think to some extent Keller feels how many people around his age feel (regardless of how educated or uneducated they may be about the sport): that is that Portugal and Ghana are automatically better because, well, they're not America (or Canada or Oz). This attitude of, "don't we like, suck at soccer?", is still very prevalent especially among the over 30 crowd. We have a long way to go but its really time for that attitude to die.

Keller was a NT keeper, and star, when he played. I think it odd, I really do.

He must have reacted knee jerk, with his heart in his hand, knowing that this is the best side the country has had.

I know who he is. I just think that coming of age when he did, and playing for the national team when he did, maybe deep down he can't help but have that attitude.

Win against Ghana, at least draw against Cristiano Ronaldo...and park the bus and counter against the Krauts. Profit.

I wish I could find the interview. He said something like he was wondering if it could get any worse after we pulled Germany.

Just seemed very negative and pessimistic.

That the US sucks, because he´s over 30? I´m not buying it. I think he let it slip, and should (rightfully) be remorseful.
