Early enrollee's in past years had to enroll by

December 12th. I don't know what the deadline is this year for the spring semester but Speedy and Willis have to register soon. Want that give away where they are going ?

They don't have to enroll until the last day to add classes for the spring semester.

We got back to school Jan 15th and the last day to add classes is Jan 24th.

Your mixing up last day to add or drop a class with initial enrollment deadline . Initial enrollment deadline is mid December (for new students). I just don't know the date

Trust me. They can and will get them in if necessary. But guys like this will go thru a normal process and enter earlier unless there is some technical reason they can't. Also they can enroll and sign all the papers you want, but they are not committed until they actually attend class.

yeah initial enrollment for regular students is mid December. But im sure there is a grace period for scholarship football players that graduated high school early. I mean there is a diff in enrolling as a regular student, or as a scholarship football player.
I mean RR wasnt at LSU until about week 3 in the season, so almost a month after the semester began.
I think Dr. Shultz has the right of it.

You are wrong. Do you remember the Gunner Kiel situation?
It's different for them. They are on scholarship and are most likely not graduated from high school until the date you are thinking of

He was enrolled the same week school began and the last week of fall camp...
Hayden Rettig ran into same problem back in Jan as RR did in August. Could not get through the NCAA Clearinghouse. I think he was a week late after classes started. People were worried he had gone Gunnar on us...

Exactly.
And RR wasnt OKed by the NCAA Clearinghouse until August 28th, and didnt report til a week later IIRC.
My point was that regular students have to meet those deadlines. There are different deadlines for scholarship athletes who have issues with the Clearinghouse, graduate early and are Dec. grads in high school,etc.
