So I finally watched Suspiria last night and I was a bit disappointed, especially with the ending. While it exuded a terrifically creepy atmosphere and Argenti's style was impeccable, the screenplay itself left a ton to be desired. The opening murders were very well done, as was the scene with Sarah and the barbed wire. It went downhill after that, though. It seriously could have used another half hour because the ending was terribly anticlimactic and rushed. It seemed so cobbled together and was unintentionally hilarious. Seriously, the very end reminded me of the ending of Caddyshack... not what Argenti was going for, I'm guessing. There was also a complete lack of character development. It reminded me a lot of Rosemary's Baby, but with no payoff. I still loved the style and the Goblin soundtrack was fantastic.

I should add that the quality of the DVD was no better than that of a basement porno filmed in bumfrick Idaho. Thanks Netflix.

I have the same feeling towards all the Argento movies I've seen. Great visuals and atmosphere but that's about it. Still worth a watch though.
