Jarvis Landry has Hands of Velcro, Heart of Steel and he is the toughest wide receiver in LSU history. But he has not been nominated for any awards. The question is why?

Because he was on the same team with OBJ and OBJ got the press clippings.

An award should be named after him - most/best acrobatic catches for the season! There - The Landry Award goes to . . .

This. To the people that just watch highlights of games or just the average fan, they think OBJ is better because he makes the "ohhh" plays. For people that really watch the game, Jarvis is a better overall WR, by a good bit too.

Honestly, there are only 2 WRs that I would take over Jarvis. Jordan Matthews from Vandy, and Mike Evans from TAMU. Thats it.

OBJ is better than this board gives him credit for, Landry and OBJ are two completely different receivers, Landry is physical with excellent hands and he's a good blocker, Beckham is smooth and runs great routes with good hands as well & along with his return skills Beckham is more dynamic but Landry is the better pure receiver

I never said OBJ wasnt good or anything like that. He is. But as a WR, Jarvis is better. OBJ brings the return game factor, but thats not as a WR. OBJ is a WR with inconsistent hands.

As a WR, Jarvis is better. You even said that.

Haha and yeah we did shut down Mike Evans. Doesnt mean hes not a stud and a top 15 pick this year. Dudes a freak.

Mathews over Landry maybe but not Evans. Evan could be shut down and his base move is a push off, that can be called. Mathews and Landry were just about uncoverable. They both catch the ball when everyone in the stadium knows it is going to them and they are doubled or tripled teamed. Both are hard workers, great route runners, with great hands. Plus both can block.

\I think Landry has cornered the market on WOOW plays. I like OBJ as a jack of all trades, but if you want to see a show, Landry is your man.

Because he does not play for a "video game" team... He and OBJ split 2400 yds of receptions to each ones detriment but for the greater good of the team.

If I was pickin WR's for a new team he would be one of my top picks.
