Is it wrong to think this is whole QB situation is a win-win for LSU? I wish Mett all the best, and he will have a future in the NFL, but does this give LSU the much needed experience to start next season?
I think this could build the fan's interest during the off-season with a great showing from Jennings. With the great responses about the crowd's energy at the end of the Arkansas game, and the hope of a bright future, is this the revitalization LSU was needing this year and next?

Discussed a banning with Rummy. We both agreed we didnt want the #6heismans bandwagon to crash.

If he has a bad game, prepare for the negativity. This could be a huge plus (experience) but could also be a negative.

I think this bowl game presents a terrific opportunity to try various backup personnel in various situations against a "quality" opponent in preparation for next year, especially on defense. I hope that the coaches and fans realize that this aspect is far more important than winning the game.
