Commissioner added playoff teams overnight Updated

So I get on our fantasy page this morning to see which waiver claims went through for me and notice our commissioner added two more playoff teams overnight.
He was in fifth place. Now he's magically in the playoffs. This is a money league with $1k on the line.
I get a bye now but frick that shite.
Appropriate action?

League rules should not be changed mid-season. Talk to your league mates and cry foul together. Demand for it to be changed back. If the commish doesn't comply then get your money back and walk away. If he does set it back, continue on and vote on a new commissioner next year.

We all went to college together. I've already begun bitching in our group text but he has been conspicuously absent if the talk thus far.
Typically I'm the commissioner but he wanted to start it up this year.

That's bullshite. That's worth walking away over and demanding your money back. Apparently this is going to add a week to the season too? Some people draft teams and most people pick up players based on what their playoff schedules are like. This throws all those strategies out the window. This would be bullshite in my $100 family league and is completely bush league in a league with $1k on the line.

It was four teams with each team going two weeks.
Now it's six and one week matchups with the top two getting byes. I'm in first so I get a bye now.
I'd rather go two weeks. Don't think I can be beaten over a two week period.

Yeah, eff that. That's even worse than I previously thought. I went 7-6 in my league but had the 3rd highest point total. I was consistently between 115-130. I only scored above 150 once and below 100 once. But if I knew I had 2 weeks with that consistency then I would feel pretty confident.
Your commish completely threw all that out the window without any consideration. I think even if he were to put this up for a vote at this time it would have been wrong but to just make a decision completely on his own that will benefit him is complete bullshite.
